Ever wondered what staying in a cabin in Wisconsin during winter while gazing out into the snow feels like? This is it. Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago is a testament to "all of his personal trouble, lack of perspective, heartache, longing, love and guilt". It's a beautiful, simple and heartfelt record.
My art teacher gave this album to me as a Christmas gift and I went on a crazy binge with it for about a month. I don't listen to it as often as I used to, but when I do, it's still as fresh and beautiful as I remember.
