Piece By Piece - We've Lost It All

Do you like aggressive, pissed off and FAST hardcore with beatdown breakdowns and gang shouts? Well then you'll love this. I recently bought this cd and do not regret it. Piece By Piece is an overlooked hardcore band featuring members of Terror, Internal Affairs and more.

BL2DERUNNER

Here's a little something I found. A little prerequisites for you to enjoy this: must've seen Blade Runner and must be a huge fan. Also should've listened to the original soundtrack by Vangelis in its entirety. Having said that, you can still sort of enjoy this piece of work. Remixed Blade Runner soundtrack (possibly for an imaginary sequel) with great shades of techno, electronica and industrial.

Discordance Axis

Here's a band I've been listening to for quite some time now and therefore decided to share. Some great grindcore with great lyrics.

"Duplicitous chastity preserved for rape

As my vicious circle comes around again
Pirouetting like a fan dancer

Choreographed into the desire for rebirth
Or just a wish for death

The river of Sai inseminated
By Kafka's sulfurous and potent intention

A subtle but more penetrating violation
Barring divine intervention

I count wire guided sheep
Each one an exploding bob
Inhabitat peopled by the inalienable dreamless"

Kayo Dot-Choirs of the Eye

Sometimes, bands like Kayo Dot are the reason why I listen to music every day of my life.

Life...the Best Game in Town

Georgia sure churns out some class sludge bands. In this case it's Harvey Milk.
